Three scenic walks of Boston – Freedom Trail Walk, Back Bay/Beacon Hill Walk and Special Places Walk – offer a chance to explore Boston and many of its sites of interest, from Jan. 1 to Dec. 20. Walks vary in length (3-6 miles) and are suitable for strollers and wheelchairs. Newton Centre Year Round Walk, Jan. 6 – Dec. 15, explores the villages of West Newton and Auburndale. Two routes are available, 3.1 miles or 6.2 miles, and both are rated moderately easy, suitable for strollers but not wheelchairs. The start point is the Newton Free Library, 330 Homer St., Newton Centre. The Walk Box can be found on the table in the main lobby.
