Boston Duck Tours Take Flight from the New England Aquarium
<p>Starting on Friday, May 1, Boston Duck Tours will offer abbreviated, 55 minute, evening tours departing from the New England Aquarium. Rose Kennedy Greenway Carousel
<p>A spectacular, classic carousel has come to the Rose Kennedy Greenway near Faneuil Hall Marketplace. Kids and adults alike are enjoying the colorful horses, the open park lawns, and the proximity to the harbor. As part of the Greenway&rsquo;s commitment to activate the parks with family-friendly activities, the carousel is the perfect place to relax and enjoy views of the harbor, the Greenway and smiling faces. A.R.T./MXAT institute's The Winter's Tale

<p>Have your child's image captured in a timeless memento, a beautiful silhouette. Portrait subjects should be at least 6 months old. Haunted Woods and Spooky Carnival At Winslow Farm
<p>Haunted Woods and Spooky Carnival Spooktactular every weekend, throughout the month of October. The Haunted Woods is a walking outdoor adult trail, which will feature live actors with Halloween props in very scary settings. The nature trail near the playground will be decorated for young children. The Spooky Carnival will be geared toward children, with games. Children's Spanish Reading Hour
<p>Jamaicaway Books &amp; Gifts will be hosting a Children's Spanish Reading Hour with Carolina Gomez-Kramer every first Saturday of the month at 11AM, starting October 3, at its store on 676 Centre St in Jamaica Plain. Carolina G&oacute;mez-Kramer is a native of Colombia. She holds a bachelor's degree in modern languages and education with emphasis on English and Spanish from the Universidad del Valle. Gomez-Kramer has taught languages to children for ten years in the United States Colombia and Guatemala. She is also a member of the Massachusetts Foreign Language Association.</p>

Admission is $1 and includes entry into a raffle for a $50 shopping spree at the Toy Box. Clothing donations may be dropped off Friday, Oct. 2 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Cunningham Hall.
