Exhibit: Cool Moves - The artistry of motion
<p>EcoTarium's newest exhibit! 222 Harrington Way Worcester, MA 508-929-2700 info@ecotarium.org. &nbsp;Dance to create light and sound, zoom three-wheeled racers, play with crazy pendulums, touch a mini tornado, make waves with wind over water or objects in a ripple pool, pilot the speed of video animals in motion, see and feel the vibrations created by sound, experiment with windy wonders, and make music out of thin air. Create and observe science in motion! Our new interactive exhibit opened July 1. Free with museum admission. Created with funding from the National Science Foundation</p>

Circus Smirkus 22nd Annual Big Top Tour Shows
<p>New England's acclaimed, international traveling youth circus presents Smirkus Ever After: A Big Top Fairytale. Smirkus turns the pages on Aesop, Brothers Grimm and Hans Christian Andersen, bringing classic stories to life through the spectacle, enchantment of circus. Performers ages 10-18 dazzle crowds with astounding aerials, clever clowning, mind-boggling juggling, amazing acrobatics. Six shows in Wellesley-Elm Bank Horticultural Center, 900 Washington St. 2pm and 7pm Fri; 2pm and 7pm Sat; 11am, 4pm Sun. $22/Adult(13+), $18/Child, free for under 2. Vistas del Pueblo: Images of Community from Nicaraguan Villages
<p>The Angel Art Program was founded as a way to help some of the poorest communities in Nicaragua by teaching children and adults how to create, exhibit, and sell their artwork locally and abroad. This exhibit is an extraordinary collection of work by artists of all ages, unified by strong cultural roots, revelry in color, and an inspiring sense of optimism in the face of poverty. The gallery is open during normal business hours, Mon-Fri, 8:30 am to 6:00 pm. It is also open evenings and weekends when other programs are in session. LOCATION: Springstep, 8 George P. MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers)
<p>2nd and 4th Tuesdays through June; 9:30 to 11:30 am, Fort Square Presbyterian Church, 16 Pleasant Street, Quincy, MA 02169. Questions? We enjoy fun, food, speaker presentations and discussion; service projects and outings; as well as support and inspiration. The MOPS experience equips women for the joys and challenges of their lives as moms. If you are pregnant or have children through kindergarten age, we hope you will join us! Free childcare.</p>

Dreaming Cows by Betty LaDuke
<p>Dreaming Cows was inspired by artist Betty LaDuke's trips to Heifer projects around the world. Heifer transforms lives by providing the gift of livestock and training. Through brilliantly colored images, Dreaming Cows takes visitors on a journey from the Bronx to Bolivia, and from Vietnam to Kosovo. The journey, like Betty's art, is enjoyable, colorful, uplifting, and inspiring. Free with Museum admission. Adults $12; Seniors 65+ and Children 1-15 $9.
