Smirkus turns the pages on Aesop, Brothers Grimm and Hans Christian Andersen, bringing classic stories to life through the spectacle, enchantment of circus. Performers ages 10-18 dazzle crowds with astounding aerials, clever clowning, mind-boggling juggling, amazing acrobatics. 09/24/2009—12/18/2009 | Vistas del Pueblo: Images of Community from Nicaraguan Villages <p>The Angel Art Program was founded as a way to help some of the poorest communities in Nicaragua by teaching children and adults how to create, exhibit, and sell their artwork locally and abroad. This exhibit is an extraordinary collection of work by artists of all ages, unified by strong cultural roots, revelry in color, and an inspiring sense of optimism in the face of poverty. The gallery is open during normal business hours, Mon-Fri, 8:30 am to 6:00 pm. It is also open evenings and weekends when other programs are in session. LOCATION: Springstep, 8 George P.
