Summer Academic Enrichment 2013
Grades 1 through 5
This summer program is designed for children who have completed Kindergarten through grade 5 to expand their educational horizons during the summer months. This four day per week program will have both language and math concepts introduced each day.
Summer Recreational Programs
Grades 1 through 5
Camp Quarry includes cooperative games, sports, arts and crafts, science, swimming (ages 6 and up)*, cooking, field trips* and more. The programs are designed for kids who have completed Kindergarten through 5th grade. The children are divided into groups according to age. Please note there will be additional fees for optional field trips.
Academic Summer Classes
Grades 6 through 12
For middle and high school students who want to remediate, or advance, in several subject areas including mathematics,
language arts and ESL. High school credits are available for some classes.
ESL Summer Camp Program Description
ESL Summer Camp (ESC) is open to students entering grade 9-12. ESC students stay with host families during the duration of QLS ESL Summer Camp. Students receive 15 hours of English instruction per week. There will be half day excursions which will include field trips to Muir Woods, Santa Cruz, Golden Gate Park/Bridge, universities and museums. (The activities may be subject to change.)
