At Dedham Country Day Camp, we believe that summer time should reinforce the wonders of being a child, and the enduring joy of friendship. While we offer a broad range of activities from archery to woodworking, we also allow time in each day for the simple enjoyment of catching frogs in the stream, climbing trees and building forts in the pine grove.
If you have a child between the ages of 3.5 and 12, and you believe that summer is a time to explore, play, laugh, and learn, then DCD Camp is just the place.
Our camp is small in size, and BIG on fun!
The average number of campers per day is between 75 and 110, while the average group size is between 8 and 14. With a minimum of three counselors assigned to each group, our campers are sure to receive the attention and care that they deserve.
Some campers are outgoing and energetic, while others are shy and reluctant. Our counselors can insure that each child, regardless of disposition, learns and grows from the DCDC experience. Parents remark that they love the intimate feeling on campus and are surprised when all the counselors know all of the campers by name, even those who are not in their groups!
