Since 1956...
Studying the art of dance at Kirkpatrick's has become a tradition for hundreds of peninsula families. Our school provides excellent instruction for ages 3 to adult. Young dancers, many even second or third generation students of Kirkpatrick's, begin their dance training by learning the fundamentals of dance. We're proud of our excellent staff, many of which trained and grew up at Kirkpatrick's. Many of our students graduate and go on to perform and study dance in the professional world.
Quality is a tradition at Kirkpatrick's and both experienced directors, Stacey McDonald and April Bongi share the same enthusiasm for their school.
We offer four different summer camps for ages 3 and up.
July 8th - August 3rd
1. Little Stars is specially designed for ages 3-4 and offers
an introduction to dance with a combination of pre-ballet, pre-tap
and light mat work. Students will learn a dance routine and basic
exercises with imaginative and creative instruction.
$135.00 per month (8 lessons) or $80.00 per month (4 lessons)
2. Super Stars is designed for ages 5-7 and is a combination
class, 1/2 hour ballet and 1/2 hour tap. Students will learn
the basic fundamentals of dance which will prepare
them for the upcoming fall class schedule.
$135.00 per month (8 lessons) or $80.00 per month (4 lessons)
3. Hip Hop Camp (9am-1pm) is open to all children and teens aged 7 and up.
In these weekly camps, students will learn that it's fun to be fit
and active. All hip hoppers will learn techniques, exercises and
terminology along with preparing a choreographed piece to perform
each Friday for family and friends. We also incorporate arts by creating
signs and t-shirts to use during the camp show. Bring a snack/lunch.
Weekly Fee $260.00 After April 15,2013 $280.00

4. "Magic Tutu Camp" Mon/Wed/Fri July 8-August 2
ages 4-7
Camp Days: Mon-Wed-Fri 9:30-12:30
Ballet and mat work. Art and creative fun time!
