"LITTLE BITS of Broadway" - Musical Theater Camps
For rising 5-7 year olds, musical theater camp provides an imaginative outlet for this energetic young age. Students develop foundational acting skills by rehearsing a story drama with their classmates throughout the week while rotating through drama, dance, music and art experiences. The hysterical meets the historical in this comic romp through the wackiest wax museum in history! School’s out for summer, but not for six students who don’t know much about history — they have to re-take the class in summer school. Their teacher has arranged for them to help at a new wax museum as a class project. There’s a twinkle in the wax figures’ eyes when a mysterious incantation from the back of Cleopatra’s bracelet brings them to life! King Henry VIII, Cleopatra, Butch Cassidy, the Sundance Kid, Blackbeard and a bevy of lady pirates - everybody’s out for one thing — treasure hidden in the museum! It’s a wild goose chase to find it. The magic of history comes alive — literally!

Stage Kids summer camps are an amazing way for children to spend a summer. Michelle McCormick and her staff are truly dedicated to the kids! Their attitudes towards helping children grow theatrically and personally is what makes their programs stand out. The shows that they produce at the end of their camps are some of the best we've ever seen! My daughter feels like Stage Kids is a part of her family....we couldn't ask for anything more!

My daughter has attended Stage Kids summer camps and theater school, and we just can't say enough good things. Mrs. McCormick is an amazing role model and teacher for the children. Her enthusiasm, along with the rest of the staff is top notch! No other theater camp offers the training, dedication and individualized help that Stage Kids does. The productions at the end of camp are truly some of the best we've seen and been a part of! My daughter has grown as a performer and a person... lifelong memories are built here! She feels like part of a family, which in our eyes is the best feeling a parent can have!
