Dr. David Walsh, Associate Professor in the Department of Kinesiology, will once again host the San Francisco State University Gator Youth Sports Summer Camp, a program with a 30 year history. Boys and girls (ages 7-14) will be grouped by age and offered a variety of developmentally appropriate sports and physical activities. The program aims to enhance self-esteem and confidence through physical activity and sports instruction, in addition to promoting fitness and motor skill development. Scheduled Activities (4 one hour stations EVERY day): Station 1: Swimming; Station 2: Tennis; Station 3: Basketball, Volleyball, & Soccer; Station 4: Martial Arts
Dates & Times: The program will take place June 17—July 26 and run from 1pm to 5pm Mon-Fri. Participants are strongly suggested to sign up for all six weeks. The program fee is $800 for all six weeks however a weekly rate of $175 per week is also offered.
