    Description:

Incorporated as a non-profit organization the center has been designed to serve the needs of working parents and their children since 1986. In our safe and attractive environment parents can have complete confidence that their children are getting the best possible care. Our roles is not only to take care of the children while their parents work, but to provide an environment where children will attain emotional, social, physical, and intellectual strengths to prepare them for the challenges of a rapidly changing world. The curriculum planned assures optimum growth and development of the whole child through a curriculum that incorporates a hands-on approach to learning and discovering, offering a variety of acivites and materials that encourage manipulating, experimenting and problem solving. Both one-one, small group and whole group activity encourage language skills, social skills, self-help skills, in addition to fostering independence and self-control. Our curriculum emphasizes a creative arts approach to developing reading, writing and math readiness skills. Developmentally based, the program allows children to develop at their own pace. Social interactions are guided so they learn to respect people both in and out of the calssroom setting. The Teacher's role is to motivate and stimulate thinking and recognize the learning styles and social and emotional needs of each chid. A loving and nurturing environment is provided which will enhance the child's self esteem and future success in school. Close ties between home and school are encouraged throughout the year. Parents are always welcome to visit and join their childs' daily activities.
