Free with Peabody Museum admission. Sugar skull workshop: $5 per skull. Recommended for ages 5 and up accompanied by an adult. Here’s your official invitation to the Day of the Dead family celebration at the Peabody Museum! Make a calaca (skull) mask, paper marigolds, and other Día de los Muertos items. View the special altars and decorations, leave messages for your departed loved ones, and create percussion shakers and join in festive music by Latin American singer Maura Mendoza and her ensemble. Decorate and take home a sugar skull and have some light snacks. Limited parking available at 52 Oxford Street Garage from noon to 4 pm.
