Hundreds of Boston City Singers’ students will come together from across Boston and Cambridge to perform at the historic Strand Theatre in Dorchester at 3:00 pm on June 1, 2013. This end of year show will allow all of our students to showcase the amazing work they have done this year! There will be inspiring performances from teens ages 11-18 in all of the divisions of the Concert Chorus as well as songs from our younger children ages 6-11 in our Neighborhood Training Choruses and ages 4-6 in our Kodaly Singing Classes. The choirs will perform music from around the world with a diverse repertoire including South African hymns, American folk songs, contemporary pop songs, and traditional Caribbean percussion music. The concert is free, with donations accepted for the Boston City Singers scholarship fund, and open to the public.
