Read MoreAll are invited to join the Friends of the Blue Hills for a spring festival of stewardship and fun. Volunteers will enjoy music, face painting, crafts and a scavenger hunt while helping with an essential task: pulling up invasive weeds that threaten the Blue Hills. Volunteers
should park at Temple Beth David, 1060 Randolph St. in Canton and walk the 1/2 mile to the cabins. The event is rain or shine, and while some gloves will be available for weeding, volunteers are encouraged to bring their own gardening gloves if they have them. Please RSVP

Join the Garden Educator and help in the Flower Field, Demonstration Gardens, Beverly Farmer's Market and the Children’s Garden. This requires a weekly commitment working outdoors. Read MoreThe National Farmers Market Association (NFMA) is organizing a 5K & 1Mile Run. This event is a family friendly event that will educate the public and provide awareness of the benefits of affordable, healthy foods, sourced through local farmers markets. The 'Fresh Food Run' will be a fun day for families to come out, learn about farmers markets and participate in a community event. Runners can sign up for a 5K or 1 Miler Run - there is a registration fee for these races. There is a Kids Fun Run which will start around 10:30 a.m. and this is free of charge. All kids will receive a medal! Come out and join us for an awesome day of fun! Please visit our website for more information and to link to register for the race!
