Description
Mayor Menino invites Boston residents of all ages to explore world of cultures, traditions, and fun at this free holiday celebration. Participants will enjoy festive music, entertainment, and performances including traditional Peruvian and Chinese New Year Lion Cub dances, children’s games from throughout the world, take-home arts and craft projects, a taste of delicious ethnic treats, a classic holiday movie, and a special visit from Santa Claus. Families will be invited to celebrate various cultures by playing games from around the globe. Refreshments will include hot chocolate provided by Dunkin' Donuts and cookies from Great Taste Bakery of Chinatown. Free parking is available at the clubhouse parking lot. By MBTA, take the Orange Line to Forest Hills and the #16 bus.
