		<description>Never Too Late Piano Class for Adults  NEW!
This class offers a creative alternative to private lessons. Students will learn the basics of rhythm, notation and ear training in a relaxed group setting that incorporates music and movement with basic keyboard skills. By the end of the session students will be able to read and play simple melodies, recognize all notes on the keyboard, and understand the basics of rhythm and notation. This class is a solid introduction for students who are planning to start individual lessons, or wanting to learn the basics of the keyboard.

Instructor: Piano Faculty
Session I: July 15-18 (Mon/Tues/Wed/Thurs, one-week) 
Session II: July 29-August 1 (Mon/Tues/Wed/Thurs, one-week)
Time: 7:00pm/50-minutes

Glove puppetry is one of the world’s oldest and most versatile theatrical traditions. From China’s acrobatic Monkey King to England’s Punch and Judy, all glove puppeteers must master the art of bringing characters and stories to life using only their hands.

In this fun and rigorous class, PST's Artist in Residence Brad Shur will guide participants through drills designed to improve your coordination and expressivity. Starting with basic exercises for manual dexterity and building towards complete character-based scenes, students will acquire a movement vocabulary that allows their hands to express almost any emotion or action.
