Discovery Schoolhouse, Inc. is a non-profit, educational, 501(3)(c) corporation that runs several different programs for the local community. We are located in Milton near Mattapan, Hyde Park, and Dorchester, and our programs are open to all.

Discovery Schoolhouse - offers educational, affordable childcare programs for toddlers, preschoolers, and younger school-age children, for the full calendar year, full and part day, 7AM to 6PM, and weekly summer discovery programs.

Discovery Arts! – Offers afternoon, evening, and summer arts experiences for older children, highschoolers, adults and seniors; community wide arts events; summer arts programming for children, and parent-child experiences for younger children.

Milton Early Childhood Alliance – MECA provides support for families of young children and local early childhood professionals; helps families find financial support for childcare; publishes a Parent Resource Guide; and seeks to expand access to affordable, high quality early childhood care and education (as well as many other community events and activities).
