The Fay Discovery program is all about choice and enrichment. Whether campers participate in a single week of camp, the whole summer, or our International Student Program, they structure their day by choosing the activities that interest them. Within a program focused on growth and enrichment, activities are designed so that campers have a “takeaway” from every experience—a project, a skill, even a new perspective.

At Fay Discovery, safety is of primary importance. Our staff participates in extensive training in preparation for their work with campers. Low camper-to-staff ratios ensure quality supervision at all times. Swimming instructors are lifeguard certified, and staff are trained in First Aid and CPR.

Daily Swimming
Fay Discovery’s swim instruction program follows the Red Cross swim lesson guidelines. Every camper participates in a swim assessment upon beginning camp so instructors can place children in appropriate groups. Small instructional groups ensure that children are able to learn water safety and build swim skills in a safe, supervised, and positive setting. In addition to daily swim lessons, all campers have the option for free swim each day.
